I feel proud of being slightly ahead of the curve when it comes to blogging Olbermann’s Special Reports. Now I’m just one of the tens of thousands doing it. Which makes me feel proud too.

Was gonna quote that line too! Even expecting general Olbermann greatness (which I came to via this blog), I was still astounded by some of the passages of that video. His clarity of delivery, the way he doesn’t talk down to the viewer, the way he argues his points with evidence and an almost electric anger, makes the reality of the situations he describes in the USA all the more depressing. And I’m not even going to think about how he compares to even the most credible of this country’s journalists.

I love how this ends: with a sigh and a look away, as if he’s just scolded a wayward child.
