And a day on which they send you “anti-Valentine’s Day” quotes, because they are “on your side”.

*awaits truckload of presents*

I thought it was the day we set you up with people for random one night stands? Uh-oh.
February 14th, 2006 on 22:07
Well, whoever was right, you all failed me.
February 15th, 2006 on 10:58
One night stands or one night stand ups?
February 15th, 2006 on 16:46
“I thought it was the day we set you up with people for random one night stands?”
If John refuses to come to the club and be fixed up, what are we to do?

It was “cheese night”.
The night you get to pay money to listen to music you really hate, surrounded by the sort of people who want to pay money to listen to music they really hate!
What was I THINKING!
February 15th, 2006 on 20:07
well, the whole key is not to stick around at cheese night for very long ;)
February 16th, 2006 on 09:24
A cheese night could be quite a fondue…

/claps slowly.
Bath not have a cool club where cool people with good music tastes go to listen to cool good music?
You can dance to Neighborhood 1 (Tunnels) for sure, there’s a market there.

I’m going to the very same club tonight to watch excellent bands play.

Not on Valentines night, Bob. Valentines night is for every single person in the world copulating on the dance floor to MC Hammer’s “You Can’t Touch This”.

people actually still play mc hammer?
February 16th, 2006 on 12:31
Welcome to understanding why “Cheese Nights” are so utterly bloody awful.
February 16th, 2006 on 12:55
Well… I think “Can’t touch this” gets away with it. That sounds fun.
I thought cheese like… well what the people with no taste play anyway, terrible “RnB” which couldn’t be further from Rhythm and blues if it tried, and terrible, preferably old, pop like STEPS Greatest Hits, and maybe some Top Dance Classics (Classic being from 2 years ago)…
That’s how I pictured cheese night.
If it’s 70s stuff, Can’t touch this, the Timewarp, well that sounds very reasonable.
February 16th, 2006 on 14:39
Well, you sound like a lunatic.

Bob: You can come and party with us, man!
They even played the Baywatch theme tune. And Ghostbusters. TWICE.
