I don’t think there’s any escaping scrappy. But anti-aliased would be nice.
If anyone knows of any software that can automatically smooth off drawn lines, I’d be delighted.

corelDRAW 9.0 does a respectable smoothing job.
however i would NOT recommend it to anyone unless you are setting up your own seat-of-the-things-we-hope-are-called-pants-but-we-have-no-training-so-can’t-be-sure publishing company in cumbria.
