I think Orange Is The New Black is so much better then House Of Cards, it has surprising depth to its characters and drama. It also has a great theme of redemption. House Of Cards on the other hand looks like a prestige drama but when you actually watch it like a Asda priced mousse it dissipates. There is no high stakes, the characters are not really that deep, and it just doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Yes Kevin Spacey’s monologuing is quite enjoyable but not enough to watch an hour of nothingness around it.

Just wait for the twist that season three will actually be told in the new Call of Duty’s single player campaign.

I wouldn’t be able to guarantee I could attend a live event, but I’d happily watch a livestream, if you were prepared to do that.

I think the issue with House of Cards is they took the (first season of the) source material, then spreeeaaad it as thinly as they possibly could to fit it into American super long seasons.
